The Sook Village team comprises dedicated friends and families from local villages, with most members residing in or near Sook Village. We strive to create a warm and inviting atmosphere, ensuring your stay feels as comfortable as visiting friends or family. While we do not offer 24/7 reception services, our staff is available daily from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. to assist you.

Situated just 2 kilometres from the centre of Nongkhiaw village along the main road, our accommodation offers a serene riverside setting amidst the jungle. Guests may encounter local wildlife, including insects, geckos, frogs, snakes, or mice; we encourage all visitors to assess their comfort with natural surroundings prior to booking.

Sook Village is located 125 kilometres from Luang Prabang International Airport. Travel time may exceed four hours due to road conditions. We offer a shuttle service providing transportation to the centre of Nongkhiaw (Nongkhiaw Bridge) in approximately five minutes, where you'll find shops, restaurants, and ATMs.

Kindly be aware that from December to February, nighttime temperatures in Nongkhiaw may drop significantly. It is highly recommended to bring appropriate warm clothing to ensure your comfort during this period as the jungle air can be quite chilly.

Payment is due upon arrival and must be made in cash. We accept EUR, USD, LAK, and Thai Baht. Please note that we do not accept credit cards at the property. There are two ATMs located in Nong Khiaw village for your convenience during your stay.

Reliable WIFI is available in our restaurant and the Teak House. Due to the large size of our property (4 hectares), providing coverage across all guest cottages is a challenge. We have partnered with a new provider to install an upgraded system within the next 4–8 weeks. We appreciate your patience.
